Death and Innocence

Everyone considers Death to be corrupt, but all Death really admires is the Innocence of life. Though he lacks the ability to express himself with love, Death can only gaze into the eyes of the one he adores. It has nothing to do with power, strength or authority, Innocence just smiles as they walk the path of their own journey. Welcoming the company of the one despised by most, Innocence giggles as he walks beside his companion. Chatting carelessly with his brown locks flowing free, Death only listens as he keeps himself near by. Why are these two so close, one can only wonder. It may be because Innocence adores Death as much as Death adores him.
